Registration of Voters Closes April 4th for the May 3rd Primary Election

The Ohio State Franklin County Board of Elections has announced that the deadline to register to vote or change voter’s address or name for the May 3rd Primary Election will be Monday, April 4th.

Spokesperson for the Board of Election, Aaron Sellers said “the Board of Elections, located at 1700 Morse Road, will remain open Monday, April 4th until 9:00 p.m. for voters to register or deliver their completed forms to our office.”

“Voters may also visit http://voteohio.gov to register to vote with a valid Ohio driver’s license or update an existing registration. Registrations by mail are acceptable if they are postmarked by April 4th, 2022.” Aaron Seller said that “Registration forms are available at our office and on the web at https://www.ohiosos.gov/globalassets/elections/forms/vr_form_04-2015.pdf.”

“Forms may also be found at many government offices throughout the county. To be eligible to vote, one must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Ohio for at least 30 days before the election, registered to vote at least 30 days before the election, and at least 18 years old on or before November 8th, 2022.”
