Igala Association USA Marks 25th Anniversary in Columbus Aug. 29 – Sept. 1

Columbus, Ohio will host the 25th Anniversary of the Igala Association USA on Thursday, August 29 to Sunday, September 1, 2024, at the Double Tree By Hilton, Columbus, Worthington, Ohio.

With the theme being “Addressing the Decadence that riddles our Homeland”, the conference “presents yet another opportunity to showcase Igala to the world”.

“This year’s event marks our 25th anniversary and is packed with activities for your enjoyment, including a business round table, youth summit, stage play, art exhibitions, cultural dances, food, and more,” said Igala Association President USA Teresa Edoja.

“Whether you were born in the United States or have recently arrived, this association is your home away from home. We are a community dedicated to preserving our culture, fostering connections, and empowering future generations.”

According to the program, “the youth conference starts on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, with some of the youths participating in the ‘Oma Ufedo’ stage play.”
