Ford commits to provide 100 Million masks to Ohio through 2021

Ohio Lt. Governor Jon Husted has announced that Ford will be donating 100 million face masks to Ohio through 2021 with the donation of two million medical-grade face masks already.

“This donation is part of Ford’s ongoing commitment of providing 100 million face masks through 2021,” said Lt Governor Jon Husted at the weekly Covid19 briefing.

Ford employs more than 6000 people in Ohio.

On the National Voter Registration Day, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine said, “we were recently made aware that approximately 59,000 Ohioans who requested a voter registration form through Ohio Benefits did not immediately receive the form due to a system error.

“A review found that 18,900 requestors were already registered to vote, 7,500 received the forms through other Ohio Benefits transactions, and 32,400 had not received a form at the time of the review.”

“Ohio Department of Administrative Services sent voter registration forms to all 59,000 individuals – thus remedying the situation well ahead of the deadline to register to vote for the fall election,” said Governor Mike DeWine.
