FIA celebrates India’s 74th Republic Day in Columbus

The Federation of India Associations, FIA will celebrate the 74th Republic Day of India with the hoisting of the flag at 8631 Sancus Blvd, Columbus, OH, 43240 at 6:30 PM.

“Let us celebrate the glory of our nation and share the pride of being Indian,” said FIA Columbus President, Ranjankanth Katte.

The FIA provides “a place for Ohioans to get together in a fun and exciting atmosphere to appreciate the ways in which Asian Indians add to the diversity of our state. Achieve wide recognition of the contributions Asian Indians make through their many professional, religious, cultural, social, educational, and civic organizations.

“Provide an opportunity to the citizens of Ohio to experience Asian Indian culture, enjoy Indian cuisine, enjoy shopping, and experience the uniqueness of Indian heritage. Increase awareness of Indian culture and heritage to promote peace and harmony in the community through education.”
