Columbus Police mourns the loss of officer to Covid19

The Columbus Police Department, Ohio has announced the passing away of Police Officer James Strozyk due to complications arising from Covid19.  

“Officer James Strozyk, affectionately known as “Jim,” succumbed to complications of illness while fighting Covid-19,” the CPD said in its Twitter handle.

“The 49-year-old spent his entire 17-year career serving Columbus.”

The CPD said Officer James Strozyk’s “commitment and dedication to his division and the community is a tremendous loss that will not be filled”

“He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.”
