Columbus City Council Holds Drive-Thru Thanksgiving Turkey Giveaway

  • Gives away 1,000 turkeys 

Columbus City Council members, along with its President Shannon G. Hardin will give away 1,000 Thanksgiving turkeys in a drive-through event to residents on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at St. Stephen’s Community House, 1500 E 17th Avenue, Columbus, Ohio from 11a.m to 2p.m. Registration online is at bit.ly/CouncilTurkeyGiveaway.

“It’s the season of giving thanks, and Columbus City Council wants to help put food on the table,” said President Shannon G. Hardin.

“This drive-thru event will give 1,000 turkeys to families in need.”

To participate, residents will enter the St. Stephen’s Community House parking lot, pop the trunk, and a volunteer will place the turkey inside.
