Ohio Governor appoints Cynthia Engmann to New African Immigrants Commission

Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has appointed the President of Ghana Council, Columbus, Ohio Cynthia Engmann of Columbus (Franklin Co.) to the New African Immigrants Commission for a term beginning April 19, 2022, and ending October 7, 2024.

Also, Tariq Mohamed of New Albany (Franklin Co.) has been reappointed to the New African Immigrants Commission for a term beginning April 19, 2022, and ending October 7, 2024.

The New African Immigrants Commission, NAIC was established over a decade ago to advise the government on ways to improve and develop relationship between new African immigrants and the government and people of the Ohio.
