NAIC takes meeting to Dayton

The New African Immigrants Commission (NAIC) will hold its first outside-Columbus, Ohio meeting in Dayton, Ohio on Thursday, April 19, 2018 beginning at 11am.

A statement by the recorder, Ibrahim Sow said the meeting will hold at the Mediation Center Conference Room, 3rd Floor, 317 West 2nd Street, Dayton.

“Public can attend the meeting,” according to him.

Meanwhile, the Commission has invited interested members of the public to serve in five standing committees through which much of the work of the commission will be executed.

They include Education and Cultural Affairs; Workforce and Business Development; Social Services and Outreach; health and Wellness and Legal Services.

The appointed seven Commissioners include Dr Rosaire Ifedi, Comfort Kenneh, Ibrahima Sow, Eugenie Kirenga, Abass Bangura, Tariq Mohamed and Mariame Diabate.
