Registration has opened to Ohioans willing to participate as volunteers at the One Columbus Culture Day on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 4:30pm to 7:30pm at 4300 Kimberly Parkway, Columbus, Ohio 43232. (Click to Register https://signup.com/client/invitation2/secure/1153077234083/false#/invitation)
“Now in its second year, One Columbus Culture Day will offer attendees the opportunity to engage with helpful community resources, get a delicious meal from one of the many participating food truck’s free offerings, and, of course, see performances that celebrate the rich cultural diversity present in our Columbus community,” said Lindora Kolu Howard-Diawara, Community Relations Coordinator, New American Program.
“This event is intended to help foster unity and collaboration by building bridges and we are very excited about bringing together the different international cuisines, performances, poetry, and thematic stories to celebrate our diverse cultures that make up Columbus.”
“The One Columbus Culture Day will also include networking, exhibitions and children’s activities. We want Columbus community stakeholders to showcase and share their upcoming spring and summer events as well as seasonal activities, Lindora Kolu Howard-Diawara said.
In its first year and in partnership with Rise Up C’BUS, the One Columbus Culture Day attracted over 500 participants with 12 different cultural performing groups, diverse authentic ethnic foods, and over 50 exhibitors.
The One Columbus Culture Day is free to the public and exhibitors. No products and services will be sold at the event.

▪ Performers: singers, dancers, drummers, spoken word representing their heritage.
▪ Food: authentic ethnic and international taste.
▪ Cultural Display: organizations are welcome to share what they do.
▪ Thematic Story Telling Pitches: Reflection of the past and reimagining the future
▪ Networking and Mingling: Meet and network with diverse folks from all over Columbus
to share your services and programs and make people aware of your upcoming events.
▪ Children Activities: participate in culturally diverse and meaningful games from your country.
