Franklin County Administrator Kenneth N. Wilson has been elected by members of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators (NFBPA) to serve on the organization’s Board of Directors at the 2025 Annual Forum held this past week in San Francisco, California. NFBPA is the nation’s premier organization dedicated to the advancement of leadership in local and state government.

This is as Kenneth N. Wilson prepares to transition from his two-year term as President to Immediate Past President of the National Association of County Administrators (NACA) this summer.

“I am humbled and honored to be elected as a member of the National Forum for Black Public Administrators Board of Directors,” said Franklin County Administrator Kenneth N. Wilson.

“As the nation’s leading organization for inspiring leadership development and service excellence with integrity and accountability, I am committed to transforming how we govern our nation’s cities and counties. It’s with great pride that I help advance the core values of NFBPA.”

As Administrator of Ohio’s largest county, Wilson brings a wealth of experience in overseeing Franklin County’s core services, daily operations, policy implementation, and annual budget preparation. His leadership has made him a respected voice in public administration, both locally and nationally.

Kenneth’s upcoming role as Immediate Past President of NACA, a key affiliate of the National Association of Counties (NACo), reflects his deep commitment to supporting professional development and promoting best practices in county government across the nation.

He was officially sworn in as a member of the NFBPA Board of Directors on Saturday, April 12, during the organization’s Marks of Excellence Gala in San Francisco.

The National Forum for Black Public Administrators, founded in 1983, is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization representing more than 2,500 members across 36 chapters nationwide. For over 40 years, NFBPA has been a driving force in leadership development and public service excellence, empowering leaders in more than 350 jurisdictions across the country.
