The Liberians in Columbus Incorporated (LICI) hosted its annual Children’s Christmas Party on Saturday, December 14, 2024 with over 500 children in attendance, receiving gifts of different kinds. The children enjoyed games and participated in a variety of fun activities.
The Christmas celebration, held as part of LICI’s commitment to giving back to the community, served as a festive gathering for families and children to connect, celebrate, and enjoy the holiday spirit.
With over 500 kids picking up toys and 300 staying for the party, the day was packed with engaging activities, including games, delicious food, and opportunities for children (1year to 17 years old) to meet and interact with their peers.
Parents in attendance expressed heartfelt gratitude to LICI for organizing such a meaningful event.
“This is a great initiative, and we are happy to have such an impactful and positive event for our children,” one parent shared.
Others praised the organization for its dedication to spreading joy and creating a space where children could feel celebrated and valued.
The success of the annual Children’s Christmas Party highlights LICI’s role as a pillar of support and connection for Liberians and the broader Columbus community.
At the end of the event, LICI’s leadership expressed appreciation to all who attended and contributed to the event’s success, reaffirming their commitment to serving the community and ensuring a brighter future for the younger generation.
