The fourth session of the Ubuntu Conversation Series which is dedicated to the entire community will take place on Thursday, December 19, 2024, at the Columbus Metropolitan Library, Northern Light branch, 4093 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, Ohio from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
With the theme “Strengthening Our Social Fabric and Contract” the fourth session will be held “with a goal to increase our commitment for collaboration and networking,” said Lindora Howard-Diawara, Community Relations Coordinator, New American Program of the Department of Neighborhood.
“Additionally, we will have a keynote speaker who will bring us the main message of the day. Group conversations will also be held.”
The last three sessions discussed “The Columbus We Want”; “Stronger Together” for a more inclusive and prosperous city and “My Voice, My Power: Enhancing Youth Civic Engagement and Participation.”
Participants are expected to reflect on key highlights of the year and explore some themes for next year. They can register here on or before December 18, 2024.
