The David Tolani Foundation has presented Lebron James and Steph Curry Nike Basketball Shoes to 29 kids from the Tree of Life Christian Schools, Columbus, Ohio. The students demonstrated good character, diligence in their studies, and passion for the game of basketball.
David Tolani, a former student of the school and also basketball loving passed away eight years ago at the age of seven. The parents set up the David Tolani Foundation in his memory to support kids in America and other parts of the world.
“David is remembered for his love for others and basketball,” said Judy Hoban, former elementary school Principal.
Also, the mother of late David, Ms. Feyi Tolani said “David loved God, he loved the family and he loved God. David is a seed. The seed will continue to grow and spread.
“David will always tell me that heaven is real. And truly heaven is real. After his passing away I promised that I will start blessing other kids.
“The kids that we are supporting with basketball shoes are crowned with glory and honor,” said Ms Tolani.
The Principal of Tree of Life Christian Schools, Todd Marrah congratulated the students for being chosen and gifted with the basketball shoes.
He expressed appreciation to Ms Tolani for the gifts, praying that God continue to be with the family and be ever present help for them.
