Columbus Marathon, which marks its 44th years, will welcome 15,000 runners, including elite runners from the US and worldwide for a chance to qualify for the Boston Marathon.
And participating in this prestigious event promotes a healthy lifestyle, cultural adaptation, and empowerment for new Americans living in Central Ohio.
For the spectators, it will be a giant chance for them to witness elite runners from all over the world and watch them set course and personal best.
Marathon Details:
– Date: October 19th and 20th
– Events: Full marathon (26.2 miles), half-marathon (13.1 miles), 5K, and 1-mile
– Start location: North Bank Park (311 Long Street)
– Expected participants on October 20th: 15,000 (4,000 full marathon, 9,000 half-marathon, 2,000 5K and 1-mile)
