The ETSS Tewahedo Social Services will host its annual fundraiser ‘Evening of Promise Gala,’ an elegant evening of celebration and fundraising on October 18, 2024 at the Hyatt Regency Columbus, starting at 5:00 PM.

The annual Evening of Promise Gala aims to raise funds to support ETSS’s vital programs and services that empower new arrivals and underserved communities in Central Ohio.

The ETSS’s signature fundraising event brings together community leaders, advocates, and supporters for a night of inspiration, entertainment, and giving.

“Guests will enjoy a gourmet dinner, live music, and an opportunity to participate in a live and silent auction featuring luxurious vacation packages, exclusive experiences, and unique items generously donated by our supporters,” said Jared Tanner, ETSS Institutional Advancement Specialist.

The funds raised during the gala will directly benefit ETSS programs, including youth mentorship, employment services, language assistance, and resettlement support for immigrants and refugees. These programs are essential in helping individuals and families establish roots, achieve self-sufficiency, and thrive in their new communities.

ETSS is a community-based 501(c)(3) organization that helps new arrivals from over 80 countries establish roots and gain self-sufficiency in Central Ohio through programs and services. Our staff members speak over 50 languages to provide individuals and families with the services they need.
