The relationship with yourself should be the number one thing on your list.  The autonomy of how you interact with others rests on how well you know yourself.  To reach the zenith of your life, you will have to come to an agreement that forward motion in the business of self-discovery is a demanding climb. 

I love my alone time so much, because it gives me the opportunity to be at peace to evaluate who I am from day to day. Am I better than I was yesterday? What are some things that I can base my answer on? Was I of service to anyone today? Did I show love? 

The goal for most of us is to find that person that puts a smile on your face. Just the thought of having someone that you have this deep connection with can send you into euphoria! That person can be your sanctuary when things are going great, and if they’re a little rocky.   That person can make the day seem like a distant memory.

Ultimately any great thoughts, feelings and acts of service will start with how you feel about you.  Sometimes these things can move at light speed, and other times it could be slow as a snail. Don’t worry about this, just focus on the forward motion into the positive energy you’re building. 

It’s not a race to the finish line, in fact, there should never be a finish line in any relationship, even in death.  Hear me out, if you see a finish line to your relationship, then you’re putting an unforeseen deadline on the union.  You are putting an unnecessary burden on the trial parts of the relationship with your partner. 

There will most definitely be some trials, but these are the times where iron sharpens iron, and the weapons are built to protect each other from danger. No healthy relationship should ever be a “prove it to me” kind of thing. If you do that, you’ll find yourself moving from person to person in record time.  Pressure can make diamonds, but humans aren’t things, and you have to be mindful of the process and the goal you have created in your mind to obtain what you want. Once you know who you are and you feel ready to share yourself with someone, just know the hourglass is now flipped over and the journey starts.
