Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio has announced a new bilingual English/ Spanish book collection now available to families in Ohio, with caregivers having the option to choose between two book collections for their children.
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio mails children one age-appropriate book each month until the child’s fifth birthday. All children between the ages of birth and five years old in Ohio can sign up to receive a free monthly book delivery.
Caregivers can update their child’s current registration to feature the bilingual English/ Spanish book collection by logging in to the Imagination Library’s parent portal at: imaginationlibrary.com/bos. After logging in, caregivers can update the language preference.
If a child is not registered, caregivers can visit OhioImaginationLibrary.org to enroll. Caregivers can choose the language preference when completing the enrollment form.
Books included in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library are selected by the Dollywood Foundation’s Blue Ribbon Book Selection Committee, a specifically selected panel of early childhood literacy experts. Each book is age-appropriate for the child receiving it and arrives in the mail at no cost to families.
In Ohio, 409,075 children are currently receiving a monthly book delivery from Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio. This totals 61% of the state’s eligible population.
